Tyler Bailey, LVT , SHRM
Chief Operating Officer
Tyler Bailey has always had a passion for animals, starting as a child rescuing baby barn swallows that fell from their nests in the family barn. That early instinct to care for the vulnerable grew into a lifelong love of animals and a commitment to being a voice for the voiceless.
After graduating from BRCC in 2010, Tyler’s journey began in corporate medicine before transitioning into small, private practices. By 2013, emergency medicine became the focus, leading to roles in the ER, Cardiology, and Surgery. Tyler advanced from ER technician to lead surgery LVT, eventually moving into HR after earning SHRM certification.
What drives Tyler most is supporting the people who make the veterinary industry possible. “Without loving our people, we cannot truly love our industry.” Tyler believes it takes courage, compassion, innovation, and transparency to lead successfully in emergency and specialty care.
Outside of the hospital, Tyler can be found at the barn with her horses or enjoying time with family. At home, life is shared with her English Lab Birdee, her cat Muffin, her horse Crest, and a pony named Ricky-Bobby.

Michelle Pearson
Chief Of Staff
Born and raised in Virginia, I have a special love for the sun and the beach, and I enjoy spending my free time soaking up the outdoors. I also love my little pittie, Mae Mae, who, like me, prefers the warm weather! When I’m not at work or enjoying the beach, you’ll find me nurturing my plants—another passion of mine that helps me stay grounded.
With over 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine, I have developed a deep passion for Veterinary Emergency Medicine. My journey in the field truly began after my Bull Mastiff was hit by a car and fractured her femur. The urgency and high-paced environment of emergency care immediately captured my heart, and I found my true calling in the ER.
I thrive in the fast-paced, often chaotic nature of emergency situations, where every second counts in making a difference in an animal’s life. I am currently pursuing my Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) licensure to further expand my expertise and leadership in veterinary practices.
Whether in the ER, on the beach, or tending to my plants, I’m always energized by the fast pace and the excitement life brings.
